MUSLIM LEADER:”America Must Understand Sharia Law Is Greater Than The Constitution, Therefore Muslims Are ABOVE The Law

The Director of the Dallas Council on American- Islamic Relations (CAIR), Mustafa Carroll, made a surprising and shocking statement during a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas.
He said, “If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.”
He firmly believes that the message of the Qur’an is supreme over the United States constitution.
The statement would be shocking to most citizens of the United States, unless they had some perspective on who CAIR really is.
CAIR is the nation’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Their headquarters is located in Washington D.C. They use lobbyists, the media, and action alerts to promote a positive image of Islam in America during a time when Radical Muslims (ISIS) in other parts of the world are crucifying children in the name of Allah, and quoting the Koran (Though the Obama Administration has a hard time calling it ‘Radical Islam’ for fear of offending regular Muslims).
In 2007 the Holy Land Foundation trial found the Holy Land Foundation Charity guilty of funneling millions of dollars back to the terrorist organization Hamas. Interestingly enough, CAIR was among the organizations named during the trial as unindicted co-conspirators. To put that into perspective, the 37th president of the United States, Richard Nixon, was named an unindicted co-conspirator during the Watergate Trial.
In 2011 and 2012, during an event that The Blaze covered extensively, Islamic institutes coordinated with the White House to

Wedding Bells: Ibrahim Babaginda Ready To Marry Hausa Actress Ummi Ibrahim Zeezee.

Actress takes to Instagram to announce wedding with military chief
According to the report  the Hausa actress and Nollywood star is set to marry the
former military ruler, if her latest Instagram post is anything to go by.
The actress claimed that she has been in a relationship with him since 2013, when she granted an interview stating that IBB loved her and that she loved him too. She had earlier hinted on Facebook that the 75-year-old former military ruler was planning to marry her but that there were things to be sorted out first.
Ummi posted a photo mix of herself and the Minna, Niger State born ex-ruler.
She however, took the message down less than an hour after posting it, suggesting that she was not permitted to make the announcement yet. Some are of the opinion that she is merely fantasizing about a relationship with IBB.
Babangida, a native of the Gwari ethnic group, married Maryam (née King), his first wife on September 6, 1969. Together they had four children: Mohammed, Aminu, Aishat, and Halima. However, Maryam died from complications of ovarian cancer on December 27, 2009, leaving Babangida alone in the world.
Predictably, IBB was heartbroken over Mariam’s sad demise and despite speculations that he would take another wife, the ex-military dictator refused to remarry. Even in the face of temptation, IBB remained resolute, nursing the wounds inflicted in his soul by the tragic death of his heartthrob, Mariam. Sources close to Babangida revealed that it would be impossible for any woman to take the place of late Mariam in his heart.
Ummi vs late Mariam Babangida
While the jury is out on her ability to win the unhesitant love of IBB and earn a place in his life, the pressure is on Ummi to prove herself worthy of the retired General’s loyalty and affection.
There is no gainsaying late Mariam was a force of nature. As first lady, she launched many programmes to improve the life of women. The “Maryam Phenomenon” became a celebrity and “an icon of beauty, fashion and style”, a position she retained after her husband’s exit from power.
Born Maryam King in 1948 in Asaba (present-day Delta State), she attended her parents were Hajiya Asabe Halima Mohammed from the present Niger State, a Hausa, and Leonard Nwanonye Okogwu from Asaba, an Igbo. On September 6, 1969, shortly before her 21st birthday, she married IBB who was a Nigerian army Major at the period.
They had four children comprising two boys, Mohammed and Aminu, and two girls, Aisha and Halima. After her husband became Chief of Army Staff in 1983, Maryam became President of the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA). She was active in this role, launching schools, clinics, women’s training centres and child day care centres.
She also established a glamorous persona. Talking about the opening of the seven-day Better Life Fair in 1990, one journalist said “She was like a Roman empress on a throne, regal and resplendent in a stone-studded flowing outfit that defied description.” Women responded to her as a role model, and her appeal lasted long after her husband fell from power.
On December 27, 2009, Mariam died of ovarian cancer at 61 in Los Angeles, California. Her husband was at her side as she died. The president of the Nigerian Senate at the period, David Mark, reportedly broke down in tears upon hearing the news.
The Times of Nigeria reported on her death identifying her as “one of the greatest women in Africa.”
Such is the force of life that late Mariam symbolised.
The question is, Can Ummi ever measure up to her?

Jonathan renewed hope for Africa’s democracy, says ex-Kenyan leader

A former Prime Minister of Kenyan, Raila Odinga, on Wednesday said former President Goodluck Jonathan renewed hope for democracy in Africa.
He said Jonathan by conceding defeat in the 2015 election  gave credibility to electoral process in Nigeria and Africa.
“Before then most African leaders would not concede defeat as an incumbent,” Odinga said.
He stated this at the 2016 Zik lecture series at  the Nnamdi Azikiwe University,Awka, Anambra State.
Odinga, who spoke as a guest lecturer on the topic “The crises of nation states in Africa,” noted that the bane of the African continent were dictatorship, corruption and ethnicity.
“Ethnicity is the disease of the elite. They are the people who would always fan the embers of ethnicity and divisive tendencies whenever they lose their selfish interest,” he said.
He commended the efforts being made by President Muhammadu Buhari in fighting corruption.
The former Keyan Prime Minister described the late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe as a foremost Pan-Africanist,  adding that Azikiwe’s pioneering role in the liberation of the African continent was unprecedented.
In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, a former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, described the late Azikiwe as “the greatest Igbo man to come out of Nigeria.”
He commended Senator Ben Obi for endowing the Zik Annual Lecture Series chair and called for more of such endowments.
While suggesting that primary and secondary education in the country be made free and compulsory, Abubakar noted that education was too important to be left in the hands of government alone.
“The importance of education to modern societies and their people cannot be overemphasised. Education is too important to be left in the hands of government alone. Education should not depend solely on the ebbs and flows of government revenues.
“It is education that took me from a small village in Adamawa State to the position that I attained today and helped me to make the modest contribution that I have made so far to our country and humanity. And every Nigerian child should have similar opportunities to reach his or her full potential.
“I could not have gone to school if my parents were required to pay for it. That and the importance of education to nation building is the reason why I strongly believe that primary and secondary education should  be free and compulsory in our country and indeed across Africa,” the former Vice President stated.
In his speech, the Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, represented by his deputy, Dr. Nkem Okeke, called for creation of great institutions in the country that would have perpetual succession.

Fayose wants ICC probe of Shi’ites, Southern Kaduna killings, calls for Zakzaky’s release

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has called on the International Criminal Court (ICC), Amnesty International and other world bodies to investigate the murder of members of Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) otherwise known as Shi’ite Muslim group in Zaria, Kaduna state and Kano State, as well as the ongoing killings in the Southern Kaduna.
The governor described the detention since last year December, of the leader of the Shi’ite sect, Ibrahim Zakzaky, and some of his members as inhuman, clear contravention of his fundamental human rights, and an affront on the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria, saying; “all well-meaning Nigerians must prevail on the federal government to release Ibrahim Zakzaky without further delay.”
Reacting to the latest onslaught of the Shi’ite Muslims in Kano State, which reportedly led to the death of over 10 people, Governor Fayose, who spoke through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said; “murder of over 300 Nigerians, who are members of the IMN in one day and their burial in mass graves, as well as continuous murder of the Shi’ite sect should attract the attention of the ICC.”
The governor said he was worried that firearms, which should only be used as a last resort, are now being used to prevent Nigerians from expressing their religious faith, adding that; “Under international human rights law governing the use of firearms during policing operations, the intentional use of lethal force is only permitted when strictly unavoidable, to protect life.”
He described the detention of Ibrahim Zakzaky, since last year December as unjustifiable, saying; “In a month time, it will be exactly one year since Ibrahim Zakzaky was arrested and detained without trial. This is unacceptable in a democratic society where there should be strict adherence to the rule of law.”
Governor Fayose also express worries over the persistent killings in the Southern Kaduna where four communities were invaded and over 30 persons, including pregnant women and children killed this week alone. Regrettably, federal government has kept mute.”
“Democracy guarantees freedom of religion, movement, association, opinions and thoughts. It is however worrisome that inspite of these inalienable rights, members of the Shi’ite Muslim sect are still being persecuted and alienated.
“Therefore, the ICC, Amnesty International and other relevant international organisations must intervene in the killings of the Shi’ite Muslim group with the aim of bringing those found culpable to justice, thereby putting a permanent stop to the inhuman acts,” the governor said.

How Jimoh Ibrahim Got N5Billion Insurance Deal From Police To Fund Campaign

The Ali Modu Sheriff factional Governorship candidate for Ondo State November 26, 2016 election Jimoh Ibrahim is receiving security and financial support from the Presidency through the Inspector General of Police.

Reliable information available our Mail Express Online shows that IGP Idris Ibrahim has been mandated by the Presidency to fund Jimoh Ibrahim campaign and election in Ondo State.

To facilitate this, the Inspector General of Poilce, Ibrahim Idris has given out: Group Life, Group Assets and Group Personal Accident Insurance respectively to FBN Insurance and NICON insurance respectively.

NICON Insurance owned by Jimoh Ibrahim is the Lead Underwriter while First Bank PLC is the Lead Broker.

The documents revealed that N5billion has been fully paid to NICON Insurance and FBN Insurance while other insurance companies were shut out of the deal despite their confirmation as Underwriters.

The other insurance companies are yet to get their letter of offer as Underwriters and Brokers. All effort to get it from FBN Insurance proved abortive as the Head, Northern Region of the FBN Insurance, Mr. Lucas A. Durojaiye said that IGP Idris has instructed them not to give any Underwriters and Brokers letter of offer.

Further investigation revealed that Mr. Lucas A. Durojaiye has stopped receiving calls of other Underwriters

The Presidency had to tie the N5Billion campaign fund to the Insurance scheme so as to drive away suspicion from the public and insiders from the Nigeria Police.

“No wonder Jimoh Ibrahim was boosting that he will win the election. The security personnel attached to Jimoh Ibrahim is more than that of the State Governor, one of the workers in NICON Insurance said.

Another worker said that the rate at which Jimoh Ibrahim; who has not paid his workers for almost a year, is spending money is shocking to us.

“Whatever he says is what the Presidency is doing; this is a man that has accused the INEC of requesting for $1million but the same man is the eye of INEC today, a factional member of the PDP in Ondo State said.

All efforts to hear from the Police proved abortive as at the time of going to the press but the Head, Northern Region of the FBN Insurance, Mr. Lucas A. Durojaiye confirmed that NICON Insurance owned by Jimoh Ibrahim got the deal to be the Leader Underwriter for the Nigeria Police.

Why Lagos ‘garri’ thief was lynched – Lawyer

As Nigerians grapple with the gory details surrounding the lynching of a young man for allegedly stealing garri, an eyewitness, whose account went viral on Thursday claimed the victim and his gang tried to dispossess a woman of her belongings.
The eyewitness, Kingsley Ughe, a legal practitioner, in a Facebook post titled, ‘A Thief and A Frenzied Mob Baying for Blood,’ said the victim was a member of a gang of notorious thieves and not a seven-year-old boy, as claimed by media reports.
He explained that the young man met the dastardly end after his gang tried to dispossess a woman of her belongings, including an Infinix Note 2, at Augustine Onwualu street, Orile Iganmu, Lagos last Saturday.
The woman, however, held unto her phone and screamed for help.
Read Ughe’s account below
The true account of the young man lynched and summarily burnt to death at Orile Iganmu last Saturday speaks of the uncertainty and brevity of human life in Nigeria. It was Saturday, the 11th day of November 2016. The venue of this macabre killing orgy was at Augustine Onwualu Street, Orile Iganmu, Lagos.
A woman, (name withheld) was walking along the ever busy road of Augustine Onwualu street, Orile Iganmu. She had an Infinix Hotnote 2 handset with which she was making telephone calls in high pitched voice, frantically gesticulating in the process. Close by, on the same street were a gang of 4 notorious thieves, well known in the area for their dare devilry and viciousness. They were there, waiting, prowling and surveying the entire scenery for a vulnerable victim to rob and dispossessed of their valuables as they often do in the past. And successfully too.
“The woman approached. Still talking on the phone and gesticulating with her free arm. She was immediately spotted by the very perceptive eyes of this criminal gang. A brief conference amongst them, she was adjudged a soft target. There was no need for further plans or careful surveillance. After all they had done this successfully in the past. More so, their sheer ferocity makes them a sort of feared mobster in the local vicinity. But it turned out to be a miscalculation. And costly one at that!
“They approached and circled the woman who was oblivious of her surrounding and the imminent attack on her person. The robbery attack was swift and very decisive. She was held from behind by two members of the gang. One of them deftly pruned her hand bag off her shoulder and the same time attempted to retrieved the telephone with which she was making calls from her other arm. The last of the gang stood guard, providing cover for the others.
“They had during their planning stage misjudged the desperation of a Nigerian woman about to be dispossessed. The victim reacted swiftly. She let the hand free and held on tenaciously to her phone. A struggle ensued. The victim plaintively cried out for help. A motley crowd gathered. The other members of the gang, appropriately appraising the situation fled the scene. The fourth member was not so lucky. He continued to engage in an internecine struggle with victim for the phone. In desperation, he brought out a dagger, and cold blooded stabbed the woman repeatedly in the chest, stomach and shoulder. There is a proverb, when a strong animal flirts too much with the trap, he makes his meat available for children to share with teeth.
“The gathered crowd became enraged and promptly apprehended the abandoned thief. He was beaten to stupor, Tied up and set ablaze while the maddening crowd continued to bay for his blood.
“Joint Action Aid was alerted on Monday when video clips of the dastardly murder went viral on social media. We reported the yet another resort to “jungle justice” to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos state. The video clips were carefully analysed and some arrest made. The six people arrested through our efforts denied criminal culpability and brought fast talking lawyers.
“More frustrating, the charred remains of the alleged thief had been removed. The area council and Orile Iganmu police claimed ignorance of the whereabouts of the corpse. Thus we have a dead zone situation. No dead body, no witnesses and then, most understandably, an unwilling complainant still battling for survival from the grievous multiple stabbing at the hospital. We returned back to the office, again defeated. Frustrated. And defeated. The rule of law is vanquished again. The rule of the jungle continues to win triumphantly.

“Judge Rebukes EFCC Over Re-Arrest Of Fani-Kayode”.

“Judge Rebukes EFCC Over Re-Arrest Of Fani-Kayode”.

A Federal High Court in Lagos, Justice Sule Hassan, on Monday, reprimanded the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for re-arresting former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode within the court premises.
Recall that Justice Hassan granted the former minister bail, but the commission’s agents re-arrested him as he was stepping out of a Lagos court on October 21 when he came for trial.
Upon resumption of the case, before Justice Hassan in Lagos yesterday, Fani-Kayode’s lawyer, Mr S. I. Balogun, explained to Justice Hassan that Fani-Kayode was in detention at Kuje Prison having not met his bail conditions.
He said: “When he was arrested in Lagos, EFCC did not exhibit any arrest warrant. The team leader said he was acting on orders from above.
“After his arraignment in Abuja, EFCC lied to the judge that it was through intelligence that Fani-Kayode was arrested and that he would jump bail. They never disclosed that he was arrested in court.
“We condemn in strong terms the prosecution’s style.”
Justice Hassan who condemned the action of the anti-graft said agency Fani-Kayode’s arrest was in flagrant disobedient of the court order, adding that the EFCC disregarded the court by keeping him in detention for 21 days.
“In a civilised society, are you supposed to keep him in detention after he was granted bail?” he asked”

President Buhari stops salaries for Obasanjo, Jonathan, others

Nigeria's government has failed to pay the country's ex-leaders their monthly salaries and allowances since January because of a cash crisis, government secretary Babachir Lawal has said.
He made the disclosure during a meeting with group of senators, raising questions about whether the government was in breach of the constitution which guarantees ex-leaders salaries for life, reports BBC Abuja bureau chief Naziru Mikailu.
There are six ex-leaders whose salaries have been cut, including that of 91-year-old Shehu Shagari, who was elected in 1979 and overthrown by the military in 1983 after winning elections.
They include:
Olusegun Obasanjo - military ruler from 1976 to 1979 and elected president from 1999 to 2007
Ibrahim Babangida  - military ruler from 1985 to 1993
Ernest Shonekan - interim president in 1993
Abdulsalami Abubakar - military ruler from 1998 to 1999.
Current President Muhammadu Buhari, who is also former military, was elected to office last year after defeating Mr Jonathan - the first Nigerian leader to relinquish power without a fight.
Former President Shehu Shagari is said to live hand-to-mouth, Elombah.com has learnt.
In an interview with Punch newspaper, Senator Aliyu Wamakko condemned the failure to pay Mr Shagari:
We can understand if former President Goodluck Jonathan has not been paid because he just left office. But for someone like Shagari, who lives from hand-to-mouth, it is something I can’t understand. This development is really unfortunate. It doesn't indicate seriousness and it doesn't indicate fairness.”
Naziru says that unlike Mr Shagari, other ex-leaders are wealthy so they are unlikely to feel the pinch.
Our reporter says it is likely that the salaries of vice-presidents have also been stopped.
