Amosun has finished us now he wants to bury the State - Ojo Emmanuel

I am strongly convinced that Ogun State House of Assembly is not independent, but rather dependent on the dictate of Mr Governor. This is why I am of the opinion that the house leadership under Hon Suraj Adekunbi is a rubber stamp house. They approve any thing that comes their way.

Now, here is another opportunity to proof me wrong or right.

There is secret plan by the executive arm of government under the leadership of His Excellency, to borrow $ 350 million dollars (Equivalent of about # 150 billion naira) from the World Bank under the guise of Rural Infrastructure Development.

To get this done, Mr Governor needs two key approvals. One from the House of Assembly and the other from the Federal Ministry of Finance in Abuja. The present Finance Minister is Mr Governor's person, having served as Ogun State Finance Commissioner under Senator Amosun. So approving such deadly loan won't attract a second thought. Same with Mr Speaker.

Now I'm left with Ogun Citizens at home and abroad. Kindly let me remind you that the sum of # 1.158 billion is being deducted from our monthly federation allocation as debt service charge. There is récession and yet someone is about to plunge us into another massive debt, even when we are still struggling to offset the one on ground.

Rise up people. Let's jointly speak truth to power. For our sake and that of generations yet unborn.

Call you assembly member and warn them not to approve such demand when presented. Let's save this state from massive debt that will spell doom on our future.
