“I’ve written several letters to President Buhari, seeking to have an audience with him on the way forward but he remains indifferent in granting me the opportunity.”
He said that the problems afflicting Nigeria transcended political boundaries, addding that Buhari must listen to wise counsel to unchain Nigerians from the clutches of deprivation.
Bafarawa, a chieftain of the opposition PDP, said: “But I’m really angry with the so-called northern leaders who also chose to maintain sealed lips at this critical moment of our existence.”
Meanwhile, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, Malam Garba Shehu, has faults the Bafarawa's claim, as he called him an armed robber that besieged a house in the dead of the night but appeared in the same house in the morning asking his victim why there was no food in his house.
