THE FOUNDER OF PEOPLES EMPOWERMENT IS GONE ...EMERHOR.
The Urhukpe of Evwreni Kingdon and Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Olorogun Otega Emerhor (OON) is saddened by the call to glory of the patriarch of the Ibru family, Olorogun Michael Ibru.
The APC stalwart in a condolence message to Olorogun Oscar Ibru and the entire family and signed by his Director of Media & Political Communication, Barrister Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe said:
"I received with awe and sobriety, the death of Olorogun Michael Ibru, the patriarch of the renowned IBRU family. Olorogun Ibru can be described, unarguably, as the father of Empowerment in Urhoboland, Delta State and perhaps, the whole of Nigeria!
"Olorogun was a pioneer entrepreneur, industrialist and wealth creator in an era when very few of such people exist in the nation. He led the way in providing employment and economic mentorship across the country. He built an economic empire that is being sustained today by the icons of the Ibru family.
"He has been a benefactor to so many and had touch some many lives that his exit will be greatly mourned.
"I join million of urhobos, Deltans and Nigerians to mourn our father and benefactor! We thank God for his live. He lived a fulfilled live and we will join the immediate family to celebrate his glorious exit."
Olorogun Michael Ibru died in the early hours today in the United States of America.
