An Non Governmental Organization,Integrity Nigeria has expressed worries about the Inability of the Exams and Records department,the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics all of the University of Ibadan to provide any evidence that Mr Godwin Obaseki graduated from the University in 1976.According to Dr Samuel Amadin of the integrity Nigeria,the NGO wrote to the University of Ibadan on the 15th of August demanding for an evidence to substantiate the affidavit sworn to by Mr Godwin Obaseki that he graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1976 and three weeks after,the University has been unable to find any evidence that Godwin Obaseki schooled at the said University.
It could be recalled that Mr Godwin Obaseki has been unable to provide evidence of his Tertiary education as he alleged that his certificate was missing and swore to an affidavit that has continued to generate weighty controversies as a result of the inconsistencies and errors in the sworn affidavit.
Godwin Obaseki mysteriously found out that his certificate has been found far away in the USA but till date,he hasn't been bold enough to tender it before the media or the people.
Integrity Nigeria has submitted a petition to INEC,Transparency international and several foreign embassies asking that more investigations be carried out.
