Fresh crisis hits Ondo APC as party leaders allege PDP has hijacked incoming government

Strong loyalists of Akeredolu were said to have been edged out in the scheme of things in the party.
The development, it was learnt is giving the governor elect a great concern as most of his foot soldiers are copiously missing or packed together under a group.
It was gathered that the list originated from the Director General of the Akeredolu Campaign platform, Hon. Victor Olabintan, former Chief of Staff in the state and younger brother of former governor, late Olusegun Agagu, Mr. Femi Agagu and the deputy governor elect, Mr. Agboola Ajayi.
A competent source within the camp informed that both Olabimtan and Agagu also played the deputy governor elect by removing some of the names he submitted and substituting it with theirs.
Even though the governor-elect has assured that the names on the list are not in any way a representation of his incoming government’s cabinet, plans to mount pressure on the governor-elect to ensure that those who present the blueprint to progress are also appointed, have been discovered.
“Akeredolu is not happy, he has received so many calls, complaining about some names on that list , for instance, there are some people who worked for the AD and the PDP and their names appeared on those committes
“The governor elect knows nothing about that list, only the members of the transition committee was carefully selected by the governor elect, he gave the remaining to Femi Agagu, Olabimtan and the deputy governor elect to do
“Why we are pained is that, those who held the structure of the governor elect after his defeat at the 2012 Governorship election till his victory at the party primary in 2016 have been pushed out of the system.
“Forget about the list now, I can tell you that the PDP caucus in the APC now has hijacked the party “a competent source who prefers anonymity said.
