Photo: Kemi Olunloyo Wears Prison Uniform, Sent Back To Prison Again As Case Adjourned

Kemi Olunloyo appears in green prison uniform and in handcuff alongside Samuel Walson, Port Harcout based publisher – The controversial journalist is being kept Port Harcourt prison for over three weeks – Kemi has been granted bail in the tune of two hundred naira and hearing adjourned to May 4.
Kemi Olunloyo has been remanded in prison the second time in two weeks. She was earlier Thursday, March 30, 2017 granted bail by a Magistrate Court in Port Harcourt but the America trained investigative journalist has been sent back to prison by a Federal High Court also in Port Harcourt. NAIJ.com had reported that controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo is still being held behind bars for alleged defamatory story she wrote on Port Harcourt- based Pastor David Ibiyeomie of the Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt.
It seems she has touched the wrong person as she is been remanded in prison for over three weeks running and not knowing when she will be released or granted bail again. 
 
The former governor’s daughter was pictured in prison uniform and in handcuffed alongside a Port Harcourt based publisher Samuel Walson. They were sent to prison after hearing on their bail application was stalled.
 
Chief Magistrate, Alatuwo Elkanah Fubara, in his ruling granted the two accused bail in the sum of two hundred thousand naira with credible sureties who reside in Port Harcourt. 
 
The court also struck out one of the charges on cyber crime against Kemi for lack of jurisdiction to try the matter. The case has been adjourned to May 4 for hearing.

Kemi was picked on March 5, 2017, in her Ibadan home by men of the Nigeria Police and was driven to Port Harcourt. The ex-Oyo state governor’s daughter Victor Omololu-Olunloyo’s daughter had earlier put up a post alleging the pastor was involved in corruption and adultery mess with actress Iyabo Ojo.
