Your Excellency sir,
What Sin did the People of Urohi Committed?
Urohi is an autonomous community in Esan west local government area of Edo state headed a traditional ruler, Zaiki Aidenojie I by a tutelage of the Local government chairman and the executive governor of the state.
I had waited patiently for two years now, thinking that the Benin Electricity Distribution company will do the needful, but unfortunately, it is obvious that the company is saddles with so much irresponsibility and inefficiency.
It is two years today, that the electricity grid in Urohi kingdom experience electron flow on it, and every effort to make the BEDCO to do something about it has fallen into a deaf ears. The community had spent millions of Naira through self-help tin erecting additional high tension poles and conductors as ordered by the company, due floppy span of conductors in some places along the grid, a responsibility that ought to be yours, yet the darkness still persist.
I am imploring you sir, to use your good office and as minister who have display excellency in your career to wade into the matter and let us know, if we are foreigner in our country or if Urohi is the only community nationwide that is owing traffic or there are some sins we have committed that cannot be forgiven. So much accusation and counter accusation of traffic indebtedness, which have been paid, and yet no sign of electricity for the people of Urohi.
We have often directed our complains to the AGM office in Benin, through personal visitation and letter writing, who also have shown high level of administrative flaw and how disconnected the organization is with their districts and undertaking offices.
The only commodity in Urohi is our peaceful nature, and good sense of neighbourliness’, which we pray you, not to allow the inefficiency of BEDCO to rob us off.
Kindly accept the assurances of your highest esteem.
Thanks
Yours Faithfully
