OSBC Management Suspends Staff For Calling Aregbesola 'Oloriburuku'

Governor Rauf Aregbesola

Contrary to deliberate and callous misinformation that three OSBC staff members were suspended for celebrating the victory of PDP’s candidate in the Osun West Bye-election, Mr Ademola Adeleke, only two of the staff members were suspended for unguided, vulgar and irresponsible comments on Governor Aregbesola on Whatsapp group.

Kunle Makanjuola, a worker at the OSBC Venture on level 12/13 called Aregbesola an unfortunate human being ‘OLORIBURUKU’ on a WhatsApp group named U & I created by Sola Ajala. Gbadebo Adepoju, a Deputy Director at the Marketing Department, also commented in the group saying ‘……….Drama in Osun as State Government under the leadership of Rauf Aregbesola begins the payment of June salary at exactly 1:00am of Osun West Senatorial Bye-election day. Local and state civil servants from Osun west senatorial district, please don’t be deceived by the alert, the alert is your entitlements not a gift. You worked for it, even though you deserved more. Don’t because you get your half salary unexpected behind usual schedule and give your vote to APC, they are full of deceit.

Vote for liberation, vote Ademola Adeleke, Vote for PDP. A vote for Ademola Adeleke is a vote for the beginning of liberation of our dear state from boundage of half salary.

Kunle Makanjuola responded: ‘Oloriburu
governor, oloriburuku’

After his comment, Kunle Makanjuola removed himself from the U&I group and destroyed his sim card. He claimed he was never in the group, not knowing his comments had been screen munched.

The OSBC Management did not issue queries to both Makanjuola and Adepoju because there is convincing evidence.

That is why they were suspended by the OSBC Management; it is a disciplinary action that does not involve neither the state government nor Aregbesola as being insinuated.

Folakemi Alonge was not suspended. She was issued a query to make clarification on some allegations. She fought with the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon Olatunbosun Oyintiloye.
