Ramaphosa elected new President of S/Africa’s ANC


Cyril Ramaphosa anti- apartheid veteran, former miner’s Union leader,and deputy President of Africa National Congress, ANC, has been elected President of the party. He succeeded President Jacob Zuma. He defeated Nkosazana Dlamini – Zuma, ex- wife of President Zuma who was also former minister of Foreign Affairs.
Out of 4,800 delegates, he got votes of 2,440.
He will the party’ s presidential candidate in 2019
